Summit Gardens is situated at the boundries of one of Panama's most beautiful rainforests and national parks. Summit is a tropical botanical garden with paved trails and a small zoo with animals, fowl and reptiles indigenous to Panama. A highlight here is the Harpie Eagle display where the magnificant bird can be seen. The Harpie Eagle is Panama's national bird. This tour makes a great introduction to Panama's rainforests and wildlife. It is ideal for the tourists who can't physically get off the beaten trail and into the more rigerous terrain.

Summit Gardens also has an averary with such tropical birds as tucans, parrots, macaws, hawks and more.
